Welcome to the Brown Bookstore Technology Center
The Technology Center at the Brown Bookstore is the official technology provider for Brown University, Brown students, and the surrounding community. Students, faculty, and staff, can purchase computers and tablets at academic pricing after logging in with their Brown username.
Service & Repair Center
Located in the Technology Center, the Service & Repair Counter is an Apple Authorized Service Center, meaning we offer in warranty and out-of-warranty service on Mac laptops and desktops, as well as iPad models (we do not offer repair or service for iPhone). We also honor warranties from select PC manufacturers, or work closely with the manufacturer to provide in-warranty service.
Out-of-warranty service on Mac computers are done using Apple authorized parts, at the same cost as direct from Apple. Out-of-warranty service on PCs are done with parts sourced from authorized parts providers, and parts are warrantied for 90 days after a repair is completed.
The Service and Repair Counter is open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, no appointment is required.
